Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced 2nd Shift Supervisor to oversee operations in our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in assembly line processes and warehouse management, ensuring that production goals are met efficiently and safely. This role requires excellent leadership skills, mechanical knowledge, and the ability to work with various tools and equipment.

Duties

• Supervise daily operations on the assembly line, ensuring that production targets are met.
• Review problems that work centers may be having in meeting production schedule (IE. Raw material shortages, rejected parts, manpower shortages)
• Confirm data collected from work centers is accurate (IE. Labor, production counts) Check outgoing orders for count, label, and contents accuracy; spot check quality.
• Material Handling: assure proper handling and storage of raw and finished goods; assure MH position is covered; shift supervisor should understand that any open position may have to be covered by the supervisor.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a clean work environment.
• Train new employees on operational procedures and safety protocols.
• Coordinate with other departments to streamline production processes.
• Maintain accurate records of production output and inventory levels.
• Comply with ISO Procedures.

Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing facility or factory setting is required.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations and assembly line management is essential.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
